2026 Battle of Bayport Fishing Tournament – Official Rules
⚓️ Captain’s Meeting
The Captain’s Meeting will be held at The Bayport Inn at 7:00 PM on April 3, 2026. All participants must attend or notify tournament organizers in advance if unable to do so. Raffle prizes will be awarded during the meeting.
🎣 Tournament Information
The official tournament date is April 4, 2026. Lines in begin at 7:00 AM, and the Awards Ceremony will start at 4:00 PM. Please plan to arrive early, as parking is limited.
🥇 Awards Ceremony
The ceremony will take place at the Bayport Pavilion at 4:00 PM on April 4, 2026. Participants are encouraged to allow ample time to return from fishing and arrive promptly.
💰 Prize Pool
The total prize pool is $750. The full payout structure will be announced during the Captain’s Meeting.
📏 Approved Measuring Device Required
All participants must use a tournament-approved measuring device. Ketch and other similar-style bump boards are approved for use.
🪧 Parking Compliance
All participants must follow posted parking regulations within the park.
